Multicarrier technique for 5G massive MIMO system based on CDMA and CMFB

Abstract Filterbank multicarrier (FBMC) is an effective method for modulation over massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) channels in the future fifth generation wireless networks. This technique provides high spectral efficiency, and it resilient against synchronization errors compared to well-known orthogonal frequency division multiplexing technique. paper introduces a new technique, that combines Code-division multiple-access (CDMA) cosine modulated filter banks, specific class of FBMC, MIMO communication systems. In proposed data symbols are transmitted on different sub-bands also, they spread each sub-band by CDMA code. The reduces interference between symbols, which consequently improves bit-error-rate (BER) performance. Simulation results show overall BER performance transmission significantly enhanced. obtained as number base station antennas increases, channel distortions averaged out, thus decreases (in average 10 –2 ) same signal-to-noise ratio.
